A law firm in San Diago is seeking a highly qualified Senior Attorney with a minimum of 6 years of experience in drafting litigation documents, particularly in health care, ERISA, and commercial litigation matters. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the firm's legal team, demonstrating strong communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

 

Duties:

  • Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
  • Successfully meet deadlines and expectations, and perform work duties as required.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.
  • State and federal court experience is a plus.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in drafting litigation documents, including motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions in health care, ERISA, and commercial litigation matters.
  • Strong communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Transferable skills and a strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar.

 

Skills:
