The successful candidate will be engaged in all aspects of personal injury claims, from discovery and investigation to trial preparation, with a focus on maintaining excellent client communication and delivering high-quality legal services.

 

Duties:

  • Engage in discovery and factual investigation to build strong personal injury claims.
  • Develop and manage personal injury claims from intake to settlement.
  • Examine video, documentary, and physical evidence to support legal arguments.
  • Draft various legal documents, including petitions, motions, orders, and responses to discovery requests.
  • Take and defend depositions to gather evidence and build case strategies.
  • Prepare cases thoroughly for trial, including case analysis and strategy development.
  • Keep clients well-informed about the status of their cases through effective communication via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials to represent clients.
  • Conduct legal research to stay informed on relevant laws and precedents.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas or actively working towards passing the Bar exam.
  • Strong academic credentials and a commitment to excellence.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Legal research, writing, and editing skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
