Job Overview: A law firm in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking an Attorney to independently handle cases from inception to resolution. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, legal acumen, and the ability to work autonomously or within a remote team setting.

Duties:

• Independently handle cases from inception to resolution.
• Craft and execute strategies to optimize favorable outcomes for clients.
• Communicate substantively with courts, administrative offices, financial institutions, and clients.
• Draft a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, appeals, agreements, and security instruments.
• Attend hearings and trials.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an ABA-accredited law school.
• Minimum of 3 years of substantive legal experience.
• Positive and candid communication skills in both oral and written forms.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a remote team.
• Energy, discipline, and self-motivation to thrive in a home office environment.
• High level of organization and time management skills.
• Persistent, resourceful, and proactive problem-solving and analysis abilities.
• Confidence and drive to take initiative and remain accountable for case outcomes.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license in Utah.

Skills:

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work independently and within a remote team environment.
• Proficiency in Mac/Apple, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, and timekeeping software.
• Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
