Job Overview: A law firm in Saint Louis, MO is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Attorney to manage eDiscovery processes in a portfolio of complex and global litigations and investigations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of eDiscovery law, processes, and technologies, and will play a crucial role in advising stakeholders and implementing effective strategies.

Duties:

  • Manage eDiscovery in a portfolio of complex and global litigations & investigations
  • Utilize eDiscovery review platforms, including Relativity, Recommind, and other analytics tools
  • Handle data processing and document processing effectively
  • Advise legal, compliance, and group investigation stakeholders on eDiscovery issues & strategies
  • Work with eDiscovery processes and current & evolving eDiscovery technologies
  • Identify and escalate improvements to eDiscovery policies and procedures
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on eDiscovery topics and assist in onboarding and training
  • Implement custom workflows to reduce client costs and enhance speed-to-evidence
  • Create and refine standard documentation including ESI protocols, Protective Orders, and review workflows

Requirements:

  • JD degree
  • Ideally 5 years of experience managing eDiscovery in complex litigations and investigations
  • Admission to the Bar (any state)
  • Strong understanding of current eDiscovery law and jurisprudence
  • Demonstrated understanding of eDiscovery practices and related disciplines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and achieve goals
  • Proven ability to identify continuous improvements in policies and processes

Education & Certifications:

  • JD degree
  • Admission to the Bar (any state)

Skills:

  • Strong familiarity with eDiscovery review platforms and analytics tools
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills
  • Ability to analyze complex legal and technical issues
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proficiency in standard documentation creation and refinement
