The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in network architecture, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and cybersecurity. The role requires excellent academic credentials and a preference for candidates registered with the Patent Bar or eligibility to sit for the Patent Bar examination.

Duties:

  • Conduct patent prosecution in the areas of network architecture, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and cybersecurity.
  • Collaborate with inventors and technical experts to draft and prepare patent applications.
  • Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.
  • Respond to office actions from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
  • Manage patent portfolios and provide strategic IP counseling.
  • Stay informed about advancements in technology and relevant legal developments.
  • Work closely with attorneys to support litigation efforts involving intellectual property.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree or better in chemical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree or better in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in patent prosecution in EE/CE/CS or a relevant field.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Preference for candidates registered with the Patent Bar.
  • Eligibility to sit for the Patent Bar examination is mandatory.

Certifications:

  • Registration with the Patent Bar (preferred).
