Job Overview:

The Associate Attorney will primarily handle litigation matters focusing on cases involving bad faith. They will represent clients in various legal proceedings, including court appearances, depositions, discovery, interviews, and trials in federal and state courts across Oklahoma.

Duties:

• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals.
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis of laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage and prioritize caseload efficiently, meeting deadlines and case requirements.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff on complex cases and strategies.
• Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and legal practices relevant to the firm's practice areas.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, focusing on litigation.
• Experience in bad faith litigation is preferred but not required.
• Admission to the Oklahoma State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity.
• Familiarity with legal procedures and practices in Oklahoma's Eastern, Northern, and Western Federal District Courts.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Oklahoma State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.
