Job Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support on blockchain and cryptocurrency-related matters.
  • Assist in structuring and negotiating private offerings and venture capital transactions.
  • Advise on general corporate transactions for tech companies.
  • Conduct due diligence for blockchain and crypto-related investments and partnerships.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Stay updated on regulatory developments and advise clients on compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive legal support.
  • Represent clients in meetings, negotiations, and other legal proceedings as needed.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to support business development efforts.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in a law firm, specifically in private offerings, venture capital, and corporate transactions.
  • Demonstrated interest and passion for crypto blockchain technology and businesses.
  • Membership to the State Bar of WV.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the State Bar of West Virginia.
