Salary Information:
- Minimum Salary: $78,000 per year
- Maximum Salary: $127,200 per year
- Typical Starting Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year

Job Title: Insurance Defense Attorney
Experience: Minimum of one year as an attorney
Education: JD degree
Location: Seattle, WA Remote Liberty Lake, WA Portland, OR

Overview:
- Full-time position with flexible time off accrual of 20 days per year
- Primarily remote role with required appearances
- Must be admitted in WA and preferably dual licensed in WA and OR

Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire legal process, from investigation to trial, representing clients in depositions, court hearings, and negotiations
- Research and develop appropriate legal strategies for all stages of litigation
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external partners
- Communicate effectively through oral and written communication
- Stay updated on latest developments in the practice of law and insurance law

Qualifications:
- Membership in the Washington State Bar, with Oregon license preferred
- Appropriate special licenses to practice before boards or federal courts preferred
- Minimum of one year experience as an attorney
- Talent for cultivating strong working relationships
- Detail-oriented with analytical thinking skills
- Process-oriented with ability to meet deadlines and stay organized
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with insurance law a plus
- Proficiency with legal technologies and remote work
