Job Overview:

As an Associate Attorney, you will play a pivotal role in the litigation process, working closely with lead attorneys to handle all phases of cases, from initial investigations to trial presentations. Your strategic thinking and excellent research and writing skills will be essential in achieving client objectives.

Duties:

• Collaborate with lead attorneys to conduct rapid response investigations following catastrophic losses.
• Assist in case evaluation and reporting, providing valuable insights into the litigation strategy.
• Engage in discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
• Conduct and defend depositions of witnesses, experts, and parties.
• Prepare for and participate in trial presentations, including witness examination and argumentation.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in insurance coverage and general liability litigation.
• Admission to the Georgia Bar is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of civil procedure and litigation practices.
• Excellent research and writing skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of Georgia.
