Seattle office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a family law associate attorney with 2+ years of experience as an attorney in family law in King and/or Snohomish counties. The candidate will actively handle all aspects of a client's case from intake to completion, including PNC consults, communicating with parties, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, preparing for, and attending hearings, mediations, and trials. Establish positive and collaborative working relationships with clients, colleagues, and the courts. Effectively apply legal solutions to client's issues. Research case law, draft correspondence, and draft/file pleadings. Effectively represent clients at hearings, depositions, and trials. Consult with and retain new clients. Work with support staff to accurately calendar all hearings, filing deadlines, and other key dates. Take ownership of assignments and execute them timely. Must have experience in court, including motions on the family law motions calendar and before assigned judges. A license to practice law in Washington State is required. Must be a current, active member of the Washington State Bar Association in good standing.
