A law firm is seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney for its Los Angeles, CA location. The General Liability Associate Attorney will handle local and national accounts throughout California, managing a litigation caseload independently. They will conduct depositions, prepare witnesses for deposition and trial, review and analyze discovery requests, prepare court filings, and provide trial preparation and support.

Duties:

• Handle local and national accounts throughout California
• Independently manage a litigation caseload
• Conduct depositions of witnesses and experts
• Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial
• Review and analyze discovery requests
• Prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings
• Prepare court filings and service to counsel, including e-filing
• Provide trial preparation and support
• Maintain accurate time records

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in the state of California
• 2+ years of experience in product liability, transportation, aviation, or premises liability
• Experience with motion practice and depositions
• Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions
• Superior research and writing skills

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admitted to practice in the state of California
