Job Title:
- Tax Manager - Global Information Reporting

Salary:

Job Summary:
- This position is a full-time role within the Financial Markets Business Advisory services at PwC.
- The role involves providing a variety of audit, regulatory, valuation, and financial analyses services to design solutions for clients' complex accounting and financial reporting challenges.
- The candidate should have a strong understanding of global tax information reporting rules and be able to provide guidance to clients on compliance.
- The role also involves researching complex tax issues, applying tax technical skills, and developing innovative technology solutions to increase efficiency.
- The candidate should have strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Travel requirements for this role are up to 20%.

Responsibilities:
- Develop new skills and take on challenges outside of comfort zone
- Resolve issues that hinder team effectiveness
- Coach and encourage team members to take ownership of their personal development
- Analyze complex ideas and provide meaningful recommendations
- Use multiple sources of information to develop solutions and recommendations
- Address sub-standard work and ensure it meets firm/client expectations
- Use data and insights to support decision-making
- Develop a point of view on key global trends and their impact on clients
- Manage different viewpoints to create consensus and positive outcomes
- Simplify complex messages and summarize key points
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and reporting
- Certification(s) required: CPA, Enrolled Agent or Active Member of the Bar
- Preferred fields of study: Management Information Systems & Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Accounting
- Additional educational preferences: Bachelor’s degree, and ., . in Taxation or Master's in Taxation (MST)
- Knowledge of global tax information reporting rules and requirements
- Familiarity with US tax rules and requirements, including IRS publications and tax form instructions
- Strong written, organizational, and verbal communication skills

- Willingness to travel in a post-covid world
