Job Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and writing for construction defect cases.
  • Analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice to senior attorneys.
  • Assist in motions briefing, taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and trial or arbitration proceedings.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys, other associates, and legal staff on case management strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage case files, including organizing documents, preparing pleadings, and maintaining case calendars.
  • Attend court hearings, conferences, and other legal proceedings as required.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in the state of Colorado preferred.
  • 3-5 years of civil litigation experience, including motions briefing, depositions, motion argument, and trial or arbitration experience.
  • Excellent research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
  • Interest in and experience with construction defect cases preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to practice law in the state of Colorado preferred.
