  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and case strategy development.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in depositions, discovery, and motion practice.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective legal solutions.
  • Stay current with developments in education law and related areas.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Louisiana State Bar.
  • Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
  • Strong background in education law, with a focus on independent and charter schools.
  • Familiarity with Title IX, Section 504, ADA, and other relevant Labor and Employment laws.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Experience in deposition, discovery, and motion practice.
