Duties:

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in North Carolina.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing workers' compensation law.
  • Strong understanding of North Carolina workers' compensation statutes and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a high caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience handling employment law matters in addition to workers' compensation cases.
  • Membership in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar.
  • Certification as a workers' compensation law specialist by the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization.
