Job Title: eDiscovery Attorney
Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Overview:
A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Attorney to manage eDiscovery processes in complex litigations and investigations. The ideal candidate will have a JD degree, admission to the Bar in any state, and at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Duties:

  • Manage eDiscovery in a portfolio of complex and global litigations & investigations
  • Utilize eDiscovery review platforms, including Relativity, Recommind, and other analytics tools such as TAR, predictive coding, and Early Case Assessment
  • Handle data processing and document processing efficiently
  • Advise legal, compliance, and group investigation stakeholders on eDiscovery issues & strategies complying with relevant policies, laws, and regulations
  • Work with eDiscovery processes and evolving technologies, including Information Governance, Data Protection, Data Security, IT, and Compliance
  • Identify and escalate improvements to eDiscovery policies and procedures as necessary
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on eDiscovery topics and assist with onboarding and training new and existing customers
  • Implement custom workflows to reduce client costs and enhance speed-to-evidence
  • Create and refine standard documentation, including ESI protocols, Protective Orders, review protocols, training guides, and review workflows

Requirements:

  • JD degree
  • 5 years of experience managing eDiscovery in complex litigations and investigations
  • Admission to the Bar (any state)
  • Strong understanding of current eDiscovery law and jurisprudence
  • Familiarity with eDiscovery processes and evolving technologies
  • Understanding of the relationship between eDiscovery and related disciplines (eCompliance, Records, Information Governance, IT, Data Privacy/Protection, Data Security)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and achieve goals
  • Proven ability to identify continuous improvements in policies and processes and execute those improvements
