Job Overview:

The Mid-Level Labor And Employment Associate Attorney will provide legal counsel and representation to clients in various labor and employment matters. This position requires a proactive approach to handling diverse legal issues, including counseling, compliance, litigation, and dispute resolution.

Duties:

  • Counsel clients on employment-related decision-making and develop workable employment policies, practices, and procedures in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Handle Title VII matters, DOL Audits, and EEOC charges, including defending investigations, preparing position statements, and representing clients in mediation and negotiations.
  • Manage employment litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, overseeing discovery processes, and drafting motions, such as motions for summary judgment.
  • Provide clients with proactive legal advice and risk assessments on labor and employment issues.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and client counseling.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor and employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in employment law in private practice.
