Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support on infrastructure projects, including construction, project finance, and public contracting/procurement matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to infrastructure development and financing.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on construction laws, project finance regulations, and public procurement policies.
  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution strategies in the infrastructure sector.
  • Collaborate with engineering firms, contractors, government agencies, and other stakeholders involved in infrastructure projects.
  • Participate in meetings, negotiations, and mediations to represent clients' interests and resolve legal issues.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, legislative changes, and case law developments affecting infrastructure projects.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree from a top law school.
  • 2-6 years of legal experience in construction law, project finance law, and public contracting/procurement law.
  • Professional or academic background in engineering, construction, or project finance is highly desirable.
  • Admission to the Bar in California.
