Duties:

  • Advise, counsel, and train employees on a wide range of immigration laws and regulations.
  • Represent employers before administrative agencies in employment-based immigration matters.
  • File all types of Nonimmigrant Visas and Permanent Residence Applications.
  • Represent employers in court, administrative agencies, mediations, and arbitrations in immigration-related employment matters.

Requirements:

  • JD from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
  • 3-6 years of experience handling all aspects of employment-based immigration.
  • Specific experience with non-immigrant visa petitions, including H-1B, L-1, E-1/2/3, and TN filings.
  • Experience with immigrant visa filings, including PERM, EB-1, and AOS.
  • Preferred experience with high-volume immigration practice.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the state of California.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of immigration laws and regulations.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
