Job Details:

  • Conduct initial file reviews, draft evaluations, and develop discovery plans.
  • Depose and defend party depositions as part of the litigation process.
  • Collaborate with paralegals to acquire, review, and summarize medical records.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients, providing timely updates and reports.
  • Retain and consult with expert witnesses, overseeing their involvement in cases.
  • Take and defend expert witness depositions during legal proceedings.
  • Perform legal research and prepare memoranda as necessary for case development.
  • Prepare trial documents to support the litigation process.

Requirements:

  • 6-15 years of prior experience in Personal Injury law.
  • Second Chair and potential First Chair Trial experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail in legal documentation and case management.
  • Knowledge of Discovery Rules and general legal procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong client relations skills, providing timely and transparent reporting.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active and in good standing membership with the state bar.
