A law firm is seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Technology Specialist to join its team in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting patent applications, corresponding with patent offices, advising patent litigation teams, and conducting interviews with inventors. The role requires a strong background in either Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, along with extensive experience in Machine Learning, including neural networks and deep learning algorithms.

Duties:

• Draft patent applications for innovative clients, providing detailed descriptions and figures.
• Correspond with patent offices to facilitate the progress of pending patent applications.
• Advise patent litigation teams based on technical and scientific expertise in the field.
• Conduct interviews with inventors to gather information about new ideas.

Requirements:

• Possess a strong background in either Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Extensive experience in Machine Learning, including neural networks and deep learning algorithms.
• Implementation of Machine Learning and Neural Network concepts in hardware.
• Hold an advanced degree in a relevant field (preferred).
• Have a minimum of 2 years of patent prosecution experience.
• Superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials are a must.
• Registration before the . Patent & Trademark Office is preferred.

Education and Certifications:

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Registration before the . Patent & Trademark Office (preferred).

Skills:

• Strong background in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
