Job Details:

Duties:

• Drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements.
• Crafting LLC and LP agreements and other ancillary transaction documents.
• Meeting day-to-day requirements of private equity fund and portfolio company clients.
• Providing strategic guidance with good business judgment.
• Collaborating within a team-oriented and dynamic environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4-5 years of private equity and mergers and acquisitions experience.
• Excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective verbal, interpersonal, and project management skills.
• Prior large firm experience working with private equity sponsors.
• Outstanding academic credentials.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in the state of Virginia.

Skills:

• Proficient in drafting and negotiating legal documents.
