The candidate will handle various aspects of labor and employment law, including class actions, general employment advice, discovery, motion practice, and trial work.

 

Duties:

  • Handle class action and representative actions as well as single plaintiff cases.
  • Provide general employment advice and counsel to clients.
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct and defend depositions.
  • Participate in evidentiary hearings, status conferences, and argue dispositive motions.
  • Represent clients in trial proceedings.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in the State of California.
  • 3-5 years of general litigation experience and/or labor and employment experience.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

 

Education:
