The law firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join its dynamic team in San Jose. The ideal candidate must have exceptional academic credentials, strong legal analysis, outstanding writing skills, and a passion for courtroom appearances. Experience in handling real estate, fraud, breach of contract, breach of lease, and general commercial litigation is essential.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of litigation matters.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and other legal documents.
  • Participate in all phases of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and court appearances.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys in case strategy and execution.
  • Provide legal advice to clients on litigation-related matters.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to and in good standing with the State Bar of California.
  • 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on real estate, fraud, breach of contract, breach of lease, and general commercial litigation.
  • Proven experience in legal research and analysis and excellent writing skills.
  • Confidence and desire to appear in court with strong oral communication skills.
  • Experience in handling depositions and court appearances is highly desirable.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Current member of the State Bar of California in good standing.

 

Skills:

  • Strong legal analysis and research skills.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
