Strategic Planning Law Group, . is seeking a highly motivated Associate Estate Planning Attorney to join our team in Irvine, CA. We are a boutique estate planning firm that focuses on providing comprehensive estate and business succession planning services to high and ultra high net worth individuals and families. As an affiliate of Aspiriant, a leading independent wealth management firm, we have access to additional resources and support to better serve our clients.

As an Associate Estate Planning Attorney, you will work directly with clients to prepare core estate planning documents such as wills, living trusts and durable powers of attorney. You will also have the opportunity to work on more sophisticated estate tax planning techniques such as grantor retained annuity trusts, sales to defective grantor trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, dynasty trusts, and life insurance trusts. In addition to estate planning, you will also assist with real property matters, legal entity formation, and trust and estate administration.

We are looking for a candidate with a and future completion of the California State Bar Exam. Some understanding of federal gift and estate tax laws is preferred, with completion of a Federal Gift & Estate Tax class in law school highly recommended. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently are also important for this role. PC literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.
