Duties:

  • Demonstrating significant and successful trial experience
  • Conducting research and analysis on complex legal issues
  • Drafting memorandums, briefs, letters, and other legal documents
  • Marketing the attorney's and the firm's services to potential clients
  • Conducting discovery of electronically stored data and physical documents for litigation purposes
  • Performing due diligence in all legal matters
  • Managing a schedule to accommodate consultations and case closures
  • Achieving a closure rate within the firm's range (30-50%)
  • Ensuring timely approval of invoices
  • Maximizing the productivity of support staff
  • Updating case management systems accurately and promptly
  • Collaborating with other attorneys and support staff to meet objectives
  • Actively engaging in brand expansion through various channels, including social media, blogs, and community involvement
  • Seeking positive feedback from clients and encouraging positive reviews
  • Performing any other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
  • Strong legal research abilities
  • Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association-accredited law school
  • Admission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to the WA Bar
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an attorney
