Charlotte office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a commercial real estate attorney preferably with 2-4 years of experience. The candidate will represent business owners and developers in all phases of commercial real property sales and acquisitions, development, and related financing. Will draft, review and negotiate agreements for real estate property development and sales and acquisitions, including purchase and sale agreements, deeds, assignments of contracts, assignments, and assumption of leases, applicable affidavits, leases, bills of sale, easements, declarations of use restrictions, closing statements, escrow agreements, and related corporate resolutions. Conduct title and survey reviews and due diligence; draft title memoranda and objections; assist with bank financing and review of loan documents. Represent landlords and tenants in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating leases, lease extensions, terminations, amendments, assignments, and subordination agreements. Represent and advise companies in related legal matters, including legal entity formation and dissolution, related tax implications, corporate governance, preparation of operating agreements, and corporate resolutions. Counsel clients in a variety of related business matters, including decisions on strategic growth and investment opportunities. Experience in a commercial real estate law practice or equivalent experience is preferred. Must be detail oriented with experience drafting and reviewing complex documents. Should be skilled in Microsoft Office, including the use of Excel.
