Job Details:

  • Negotiate and advise clients on contracts for corporate entities.
  • Represent clients in a wide range of transactional legal matters, including licensing agreements and fund raising activities.
  • Participate in contract negotiation and collaborate directly with business teams.
  • Analyze, review, and draft contracts, discussing issues and priorities with business teams and corporate leadership.
  • Supervise and collaborate with outside counsel, when necessary.
  • Provide guidance and counsel on various legal topics, focusing on contracts and M&A matters.
  • Familiarity with working with SaaS and software companies is a plus.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong credentials and membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in transactional law.
  • Strong interest in gaining corporate, M&A, and general transactional experience.
  • License and good standing with the State Bar of California.

 

Education:

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent negotiation and contract drafting skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
