A law firm is seeking a Trusts And Estates Associate Attorney with the following qualifications:

Job Overview:

The Trusts And Estates Associate Attorney will handle estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in probate and trust administration and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Duties:

  • Manage probate administration tasks, including opening and closing estates, preparing accountings, and facilitating asset transfers.
  • Coordinate with clients' financial advisors regarding beneficiary designation forms and asset management.
  • Handle trust administration duties efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare various tax returns, including gift tax and estate tax returns (preferred).
  • Conduct research and analysis on complex state law and federal tax law issues.
  • Maintain superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Missouri law license.
  • 4+ years of estate planning, probate, and trust administration experience.
  • Knowledge of beneficiary designation forms and financial asset management.
  • Experience with trust administration.
  • Proficiency in preparing tax returns, including gift and estate tax returns (preferred).
  • Strong research and analytical skills.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
  • Missouri law license.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Experience in estate planning software is a plus.
