As a Senior Associate, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team, helping high-profile clients understand, analyze, and respond to complex business opportunities and challenges. With access to our Ignition Centers and extensive network of specialists, you will have the resources to develop your career through multifaceted engagements, formal training, and informal mentoring. Responsibilities: - Direct multinational enterprises on business decisions, such as location and entity choices, supply chain optimization, and capital mobilization, considering tax risk profile, effective tax rate, and cash posture - Advise clients on tax planning decisions, anticipating short- and long-term implications and consequences at a global level - Structure tax aspects of multinational mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, dispositions, and IPOs, while drafting tax opinions, memos, and Excel models - Prepare tax provision for financial statements and assist with compliance work for KPMG audit teams - Advise on income tax treaty planning opportunities for cross-border investing and trading activities - Provide tax planning services to alternative investment companies at all stages of the investment life cycle Requirements: - Minimum of three years of experience in international, mergers and acquisitions, and/or federal tax planning - Bachelor's degree; Masters in Taxation, JD, and/or LLM preferred - Knowledge of international and domestic tax law provisions - Strong research and writing, Excel modeling, and oral communication skills - Ability to balance and lead multiple engagements, supervise and train staff professionals, and maintain professionalism while providing excellent client service - Proven ability to develop and deepen client relationships and expand KPMG's presence in local and global markets Salary Information: - KPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges - Salary is determined based on relevant factors such as skills, job responsibilities, experience, and market considerations - Comprehensive, competitive benefits package available based on eligibility, including medical and dental plans, vision coverage, disability and life insurance, 401(k) plans, and personal well-being benefits - Personal Time Off provided per fiscal year, with firmwide breaks around year-end and the July 4th holiday KPMG is an affirmative action-equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding recruitment and hiring.
