The ideal candidate will be a licensed litigator in North Carolina, capable of independently handling cases in state courts and Industrial Commission hearings. The candidate will be responsible for developing case strategies and providing regular updates to partners.

Duties:

• Represent clients in workers' compensation cases before state courts and Industrial Commission hearings.
• Independently research legal issues, gather evidence, and analyze information to support case strategies.
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies to move cases forward.
• Communicate regularly with partners, providing updates on case progress and recommending appropriate actions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and negotiations on behalf of clients.
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm.

Requirements:

• North Carolina law license and 1-3 years of experience in workers' compensation law.
• Proven experience in NC state courts and Industrial Commission hearings.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and think critically to solve complex legal issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute legal strategies.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
