Job Title: Attorney II

Experience Information:
- Minimum of 3-5 years insurance defense experience with jury trial experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Law degree and admission to the California Bar required
- Must reside in the State and Geographic Region where assigned files are venued

Responsibilities:
- Provide legal representation to Mercury and/or their insured in the defense of moderate to complex personal injury lawsuits
- Develop and implement strategies for all stages of litigation
- Collaborate with claims partners and clients
- Manage a reasonable caseload with the support of a team including a secretary, paralegal, and support specialist
- Prepare legal documentation, conduct depositions, and evaluate cases for settlement, arbitration, and trial
