Job Title:
Supervising Attorney - Southern California

Experience Information:
- Minimum of 2 years as a Senior Trial Attorney or equivalent outside experience
- Must be a member in good standing of the State Bar in the state where the position is located
- Some management experience or demonstrated management aptitude

Essential Job Functions:
- Assign and manage cases to attorneys based on their skill and expertise levels
- Train attorneys to improve their expertise
- Perform managerial and administrative tasks as assigned
- Inform managing attorney of any case activity problems
- Supervise computerized litigation support systems
- Prepare and submit reports as required
- Consult with Claims Department on insurance policy questions and handling personal injury claims
- Handle complex and high-exposure cases, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and trials
- Functionally supervise other attorneys as needed

- Open office working environment
- May be virtual or in an office setting
- May experience normal distractions, noise, and interruptions
- Sits or stands for extended periods of time
- Occasionally reaches, bends, twists, pulls, and stoops
- Occasionally moves, lifts, carries, and places objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds
- Listens to, interprets, and differentiates auditory information
- Visually verifies and reads information
- Operates a computer for extended periods of time

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Law school degree
- Member in good standing of the State Bar in the state where the position is located
