A law firm is seeking a Patent Litigation Associate Attorney with a strong technical or scientific background to join their team in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of patent litigation experience and hold an active membership in the State Bar. Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis related to patent litigation cases.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Collaborate with clients, attorneys, and staff to gather information and evidence for cases.
  • Assist in the development and execution of case strategies and trial preparation.
  • Attend and represent the firm at court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on patent litigation matters.
  • Stay current with changes in patent law and relevant industry trends.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of patent litigation experience.
  • Active membership in the State Bar and compliance with CLE requirements.
  • Strong technical or scientific background.
  • For life sciences cases, there is a preference for candidates with advanced degrees.
  • For technical backgrounds, preference for degrees in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or closely related fields.
  • Superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials.
