A law firm in Irvine is seeking an Employment Single Action Associate Attorney to join their team. The candidate will be responsible for drafting legal documents, developing strategies to resolve cases, conducting depositions and negotiations, and representing clients in employment matters.

 

Duties:

  • Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to employment litigation.
  • Develop legal strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.
  • Take and run depositions, meet and confers, conduct ADR mediations, and negotiations.
  • Develop and deliver arguments and represent clients in employment matters.
  • Maintain an active license and good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Utilize superior analytical and legal research skills to address complex legal issues.
  • Think creatively and strategically to find innovative solutions to legal problems.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, including effective time management.
  • Type a minimum of 40 words per minute to efficiently prepare legal documents.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in California and in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • At least two years of experience specializing in employment litigation.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically in developing legal strategies.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in typing, with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute.
