Supervising Attorney - Southern California:

- Job title: Supervising Attorney
- Location: Southern California (Remote)
- Salary: $131,040 - $190,100 per year
- Bonus potential: Up to 20% of salary
- Experience: At least 2 years as a Senior Trial Attorney, or comparable outside experience with demonstrated management aptitude.
- Education: Bachelor's degree and law school degree from an accredited university, and member in good standing of the State Bar in the state of California.
- Job summary: Responsible for providing competent, ethical, and diligent representation to clients in all assigned cases. Also responsible for supervising a team of attorneys, providing training and guidance, and handling administrative tasks as assigned by the Managing Attorney.
- Responsibilities:
- Assign cases to attorneys based on their skill and expertise levels.
- Train attorneys to improve their level of expertise.
- Assist Managing Attorney with managerial and administrative tasks.
- Report any case activity problems to Managing Attorney.
- Supervise maintenance of computerized litigation support systems.
- Consult with Claims Department on insurance policy and personal injury claim questions.
- Handle cases of greatest complexity and/or exposure, including preparation of legal documents, attendance at hearings and trials, and performing other necessary tasks for proper representation of clients.
- Functionally supervise attorneys assisting with specific cases.
- Physical environment: Open office working environment, sitting or standing for extended periods of time, occasional bending and lifting up to 10 pounds, ability to use computer for extended periods of time.
