Job Overview: A law firm in Rancho Cordova, CA, is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney to manage cases of varying complexity. The ideal candidate will communicate with clients, develop efficient case resolution strategies, negotiate settlements, draft pleadings, and handle all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation.

Duties:

• Assume responsibility for cases at all levels of complexity
• Communicate effectively with clients throughout the legal process
• Develop strategies leading to the efficient resolution of cases
• Negotiate and settle cases-in-chief as well as liens
• Draft pleadings, motions, and reports as required
• Handle all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation

Requirements:

• Valid California Bar License
• Demonstrated experience in workers’ compensation defense
• Strong negotiation and settlement skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage a high caseload effectively
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Proficient in legal research and writing

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• California Bar Association membership in good standing
