Job Duties:

  • Negotiate, draft, and review commercial real estate documents, including purchase agreements, lease agreements, and financing arrangements.
  • Perform due diligence for real estate transactions, including title searches, survey examination, and review of zoning laws.
  • Advise clients on the legal risks and opportunities in real estate transactions.
  • Coordinate with title companies, lenders, and other attorneys to close transactions efficiently.
  • Represent the interests of clients in real estate transactions before governmental agencies.
  • Provide ongoing legal counsel to clients on property management, tax obligations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Stay updated with changes in real estate law and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial real estate law.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Membership in the North Carolina State Bar as an attorney qualified to practice law in this jurisdiction.

Skills:
