Duties:

  • Perform legal research related to employment litigation cases
  • Draft motions, pleadings, legal memoranda, and other legal documents
  • Argue motions and take and defend depositions
  • Manage discovery-related activities and investigations
  • Draft position statements and dispositive motions
  • Assist with the drafting of employee handbooks and policies

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree
  • 3+ years of experience in employment litigation
  • Ability to propound and respond to discovery
  • Experience preparing motions and obtaining declarations
  • Civil litigation and/or trial experience preferred
  • Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in California
