Responsibilities:

Provide innovative business tax planning, consulting and compliance services to clients
Review federal and state corporate income tax returns and income tax provisions
Exercise professional judgment to identify and address compliance issues
Supervise multiple engagements and ensure client satisfaction
Work closely with Partners and staff on client management, professional development, and business development
Train and mentor staff, conduct performance and engagement reviews
Attend professional development and continuing education sessions
Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Master's in Taxation, LLM in Taxation, or Juris Doctor degree preferred
CPA certification with 8+ years of tax experience
Knowledge of S Corporation, partnership, and individual taxation preferred
Experience with CCH Axcess, GoFileRoom, and CCH ProSystem fx Engagement a plus
Strong technical skills in tax preparation, review, compliance, and research
Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet tight deadlines
Excellent leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to attract and develop profitable client relationships
Willingness to work in the Los Angeles office at least three days per week
