Summer Internship The internship provides an opportunity to learn more about the government and the operations of the institution. Interns will assist with constituent services, communications, administrative tasks, and legislative research. Will have the opportunity to gain further understanding of the legislative process by attending congressional hearings and policy briefings. Degree-seeking students or recent graduates with a strong academic record will be preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, are required. Should have the ability to speak diplomatically with constituents who may hold differing views. Strong attention to detail and commitment to following up are needed. Nebraska ties are preferred. Duration: May to August
