To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of 4 years of experience, as well as certification as a CPA or Member of the Bar. A Master's degree is preferred. You should have a thorough knowledge of tax issues affecting the domestic and/or international insurance industries, as well as public accounting practices and internal tax departments for insurance companies.

You will also need comprehensive technical skills in FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation, audit and review, and corporate and partnership tax compliance. As a tax technical business advisor, you should also have experience in developing new relationships and selling new services with a "One Firm" service mindset.

At PwC, we are transforming the way we deliver tax services by embracing automation and digitization. We are looking for professionals who are innovative and have experience working with large, complex data sets and leveraging data visualization tools to provide insights to clients.
