Sacramento office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an associate attorney with 1 year of relevant experience. The candidate will cover a broad range of traditional labor and litigation matters that arise from sophisticated and successful Union organizing. This includes labor arbitrations, wage and hour cases, injunctions, free speech issues, other constitutional laws, and even land use planning. Must be committed to the principle that working people are entitled to the best legal representation in an economy and social system that was not designed with them in mind. Duties include all stages of litigation, research, and writing, advice to union organizers, representatives, and officers, as well as appearances in arbitration and before various administrative agencies such as the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) and avoiding them where necessary, as well as Federal and State Courts. Admission to the California Bar is required; Admission to Nevada Bar desirable.
