This includes providing solutions for business restructuring, new tax laws, and communicating local tax developments. The manager will also be responsible for assessing clients' state and local tax burden and recommending solutions that align with their overall business objectives.

Salary Information:

Salary information for this role will vary depending on the candidate's level of experience, certifications, and education. However, the average salary for a State & Local Tax Manager at PwC is approximately $120,000 per year. This may also include bonuses and other benefits.

Experience Information:

The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of four years of experience in state and local tax, with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Certification as a CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may also qualify for this opportunity. A Master's degree in Taxation or Political Science is preferred.

Responsibilities:

As a State & Local Tax Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Resolving issues that may prevent the team from working effectively
• Coaching team members and encouraging their personal development
• Analyzing complex ideas and making recommendations
• Using multiple sources of information to develop solutions and recommendations

• Developing a point of view on key global trends and their impact on clients
• Managing different viewpoints to reach consensus and positive outcomes
• Simplifying complex messages and highlighting key points
• Upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
