Job Description: - The USTP is seeking second- and third-year law students for a volunteer position at their headquarters in Washington, DC or one of their 89 field offices throughout the country. - Interns will work on a variety of projects related to consumer and chapter 11 bankruptcy law, including conducting legal research, data analysis, and fact-finding. - They may also assist with preparing speeches and presentations for the public and provide litigation support to attorneys. Qualifications: - Applicants must be . citizens and possess excellent research and writing skills. - They must also show attention to detail, have a desire to work as part of a team, and be committed to fairness and integrity in the administration of the bankruptcy system. - This is a great opportunity for students interested in bankruptcy, litigation, administrative law, policy, and legislation.
