Job Overview: A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a skilled Patent Agent to work with clients on innovative technologies, procure patent protection, and build intellectual property portfolios. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, advanced writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Duties:

• Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications for clients
• Provide support for due diligence, landscape analysis, and freedom-to-operate analysis
• Assist with patent litigation matters
• Draft responses to patent application rejections from the USPTO and other Patent Offices
• Establish and maintain internal practices and procedures for patent-related information and filings
• Communicate professionally with internal and external clients
• Collaborate with a global professional team on patent-related projects
• Manage multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing work priorities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Engineering, or related field
• 2 years of experience in patent prosecution preferred
• Registered with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)
