A law firm in Baton Rouge is seeking an Associate Attorney. The candidate must possess excellent written and oral advocacy skills, along with analytical aptitude. Experience with deposition, discovery, motion practice, and trial proceedings is required to handle an active federal and state court litigation practice. They will work closely with senior litigators, receiving active mentoring and client contact. A Louisiana law license is required.

Duties:

• Handle an active and diverse federal and state court litigation practice.
• Utilize excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Conduct depositions, discovery, motion practice, and trial proceedings.
• Work closely with senior litigators for active mentoring and client contact.
• Ensure compliance with Louisiana law requirements.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of litigation experience.
• Louisiana law license required.

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Active Louisiana law license.

Skills:

• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Analytical aptitude.
• Experience with deposition, discovery, motion practice, and trial proceedings.
• Ability to work closely with senior litigators for mentoring and client contact.
