# Job Title : Tax Staff

## Introduction

Moss Adams is currently seeking an entry-level Tax Staff to join their team.

## Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities for a Tax Staff include:

- Preparing tax returns, including supporting work papers for various types of returns such as individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, and non-profits
- Researching and consulting on various tax projects
- Responding to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities
- Preparing extensions and quarterly estimates
- Carrying out other projects as assigned

## Qualifications
The qualifications for a Tax Staff include:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with a Master of Tax or JD/LLM preferred
- Must meet educational requirements to obtain CPA license upon hire in the state of employment
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire
- Technology-related coursework highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills
- Creative problem solving, critical thinking, and research skills
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
- Highly motivated and embrace challenges as an opportunity to grow
- Outstanding organization and project management skills
- Quickly adapt to a changing work environment, including the use of software, systems, and technology
- Prepared to travel to client locations, which may include occasional overnight stays
- Ability to work overtime, as needed
- Proficient with Microsoft Office

## Compensation
The compensation for a Tax Staff includes an annual salary range of $69,300-$75,600, depending on the location. This position may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For more information about the benefit offerings and other total rewards, visit the Moss Adams careers page.
