Job Overview: A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Of Counsel to join its team in Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will supervise associates, communicate with clients, draft legal documents, and assist with case strategy development.

Job Duties:

  • Communicate verbally and in writing with clients, lawyers, and third parties.
  • Supervise associates and guide case-related tasks.
  • Assist with fact development and depositions.
  • Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
  • Work with experts in relevant fields.
  • Develop and implement case strategy in collaboration with other team members.
  • Produce deliverables and respond to correspondence promptly and efficiently.
  • Meet deadlines and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships within the firm and with external parties.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in various activities, including working at a computer participating in virtual meetings and conference calls.
  • Perform other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • . degree and Bar admission.
  • 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
  • Experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation.
  • A background in science (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) is required.
  • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
  • Direct experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm.
  • Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.

Education and Certifications:
