Job Overview: A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a dedicated Criminal Defense Attorney to represent clients in various criminal proceedings. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal acumen, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to upholding clients' rights.

Duties:

• Advise clients on their legal rights in criminal matters and prepare relevant legal documents.
• Attend pretrial hearings on behalf of clients and provide strategic advice following each hearing.
• Manage court appearances, trials, and drafting of legal motions.
• Interview witnesses, conduct legal research, and analyze probable outcomes of cases.
• Manage workload effectively to ensure timely resolution of cases.
• Provide legal analysis to clients to determine potential case benefits.
• Gather additional evidence to support the client's case or challenge the prosecution's charges.
• Prepare clients for depositions and gather information from key witnesses and experts.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of Criminal Defense experience.
• Experience handling complex criminal cases at federal, state, and local levels.
• Strong team player is willing to collaborate with fellow associates.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility for admission.

Skills:
